This week there are several announcements to bring over a wide selection of releases.
John Lennon, ‘Rock and Roll’ is 3 CDs of John’s sessions for the aborted “Roots” and finally released “Rock And Roll” album. A great belt of the sessions takes and also including the “Old Grey Whistle Test” broadcast takes and a radio promo for the album.
Michael Jackson, ‘HIStory World Tour – Live in Munich 1997’ features two shows from the stars final world tour, the set also features a DVD featuring footage for one of the shows.
New from So What! / Voodoo Down is “A Day In The Paris 1971’ featuring the first and second concerts recorded live at the Theatre Nationale Populaire, Paris, France, October 27, 1971 over 4 CDs.
Finally Speak Ezy have released John Coltrane, “Creation – The Lost ‘Half Note’ tapes” from the venue of the same name in New York, 1965. These are shows that are not featured on the official 2005 release, “One Down, One Up”.
