The 1977 Pink Floyd “FM Broadcast” release is absolute shit. Terrible recording with people speaking in an unknown language while the band can be faintly heard playing in the background. Distorted, overloaded, thin, tinny, you name it. Nothing good to say about this garbage release. Please save your hard earned money.
Thanks very much for the heads-up. I consider myself to be more of a boot “collector” rather than a boot “expert”, so isn’t it quite unusual for an audience recording to be used for a radio broadcast instead of a SBD? The release being just an audience recording & not SBD is a major reason why I avoided it to start with in the first place, and now the heads up re-affirms my decision.
Come to think of it, I can’t even remember any radio broadcasts that were sourced from audience recordings. Can anybody think of examples? I’d appreciate it.

No, this is a straight soundboard, not a recording ever intended for radio.
